Michael Baron
VP OPERATIONS & MANAGING PARTNER
Michael is responsible for the project management, execution, financial reporting, installation, logistics and completion of each client project. Michael was previously CEO of Baron, Brink International Inc, a company he founded in 1990 to deliver a broad range of services to Fortune 500 companies that included real estate developers, international luxury hotel developers and operators, Crown corporations and financial institutions. Among his numerous accomplishments spanning 39 years in the industry, Michael was a partner at a consulting firm that provided human resource services to one of Canada’s premier real estate developers following its multi-billion-dollar acquisition of two major US retailers and shopping centre groups. Michael is an Honor Business Administration graduate majoring in Marketing & Hospitality.
Vicky Benchimol
VP DEVELOPMENT & MANAGING PARTNER
Vicky brings 25 years of experience in the design industry. Her professional career began as one of Stone Tile International's intrepid pioneers. Joining the company in 1995, Vicky and the partners were instrumental in the buying and development of the product portfolio as well as building strong relationships with architects and designers. Vicky had a diverse range of responsibilities — from team leadership, to business development, to architectural training.
Vicky is driven by her passion in creating beautiful spaces. In 2014, Vicky launched 18 Watt, showcasing stunning European furniture and lighting. By 2017, 18 Watt had evolved with a focus on offering a turn-key design installation solution servicing design development, project management, sourcing, value engineering and procurement.
Michael Kaye
VP DESIGN/SOURCING & MANAGING PARTNER
Michael held the position of Director of Design, Procurements and Project Management at Toronto-based Skyline International Development for 10 years. With a background in hospitality and a keen eye for aesthetic detail, Michael’s contribution was instrumental in the design and sourcing of Skyline’s hotel properties. Michael then formed his own company, MK Design, in 2014, and recently became a co-founder of Procure by Design.
Michael has been a Board Director in three condo buildings, and instrumental in a variety of revitalization and savings initiatives, including the implementation of LEED.
Michael holds degrees in Hotel Management and Interior Design.
